Getting sick in a foreign country is NOT economical, especially in the USA.
My boyfriend had to move to the USA for work, and I decided to visit him. It was supposed to be a romantic surprise, but it turned into a nightmare for me after a week.
Over the next two weeks, I suffered from immense pain in my lower abdomen, burning, and a constant need to urinate. I was worried because I had no idea what to do, and a doctor’s fee would’ve been a significant addition to my stress.
I was worried and looking for a treatment for a Urine infection.
Initially, I had to urinate more often than usual. I thought it was because of my absolutely horrible sugar-filled diet, but gradually I developed severe burning and pain every time I urinated.
As anyone in my situation would do, I also turned to the most reliable (or so I thought) source of information: Google.
Within the next couple of minutes, I had self-diagnosed myself with a UTI, vaginal infection, urethral infection, and possibly an STD. The fight I had with my boyfriend over a suspected STD is a story in itself. Thankfully we are still together.
I tried home remedies, but nothing helped my UTI.
I looked up home remedies for my symptoms and started trying them. For the next few days, I increased my water intake, took pain relievers, and went ham on cranberry juice.
My symptoms got better, but I was still in a lot of pain. I knew I needed a doctor, but I couldn’t afford one.
Your Doctors Online came to my rescue.
I decided to search online again for a doctor, knowing it is not the wisest decision. However, just as I was trying out every other web suggestion, I also came across the Your Doctors Online application.
Initially, I was skeptical, but the reviews were overwhelmingly positive. I shrugged and decided to download it with zero hope and was prepared to leave a review exposing all the 5-star reviews as fake.
Free chat? Am I dreaming? Are these even real doctors or bots? With questions flooding my mind, I filled in the patient’s form and added my credit card details to subscribe.
It surprised me how well the response was. I got in a conversation with a doctor within 5 minutes. The doctor introduced herself and asked me about all of my symptoms. She was attentive and empathetic. Soon I was diagnosed with a UTI, and she ruled out all my other self-diagnosed conditions.
Within four days, my UTI subsided, thanks to Your Doctors Online.
The doctor recommended over the counter medications for my urine infection and advised me to continue using cranberry juice. She also gave me tips for preventing it in the future, like not holding your urine for too long and wiping from front to back. All these recommendations were quite basic, but they entirely made sense on how they can lead to a UTI.
She also mentioned that I would have to visit a local physician for investigations if these medications didn’t improve my condition within one week. I bought the OTC medications, and within the next four days, I was fit as a fiddle. I went back to the application to thank that doctor.
Your Doctors Online app helped me a lot in that time of need. These doctors are available 24/7 and provide you with the best consultancy and the perfect solution to your problems. The best part has to be the one-on-one communication. It puts me at so much ease, and the undivided attention I receive is unmatched.
Plus, it’s not a money-bagging site either, nor is it some ruse to move you away from the face-to-face doctor’s check-up. They let you know exactly when you should go to your GP or an ER. I think everyone needs an application like this. If for nothing else, then this will be greatly helpful in times of emergency. I have kept the app around ever since and even made my boyfriend download it. Whenever I feel sick or under the weather, I go on the app and get a quick consultation.
