What happens if I don’t have a health card? Can I still see a doctor?
Yes, you can still consult with our online doctor, starting from $20 per month for the consultation. Moreover, there are free unlimited prescriptions that you can avail.
Can I get a prescription or a refill, and how much would it cost?
You can get a free prescription or a refill for your medications online at Your Doctors. If you’ve subscribed to our quarterly plan you can get free three prescriptions.
What kind of medications can you prescribe to a Canadian patient?
Our doctors provide prescriptions and refills for medications that are not controlled. Such medications include antibiotics, birth control, analgesics/anti-inflammatories, and antihistamines, some of which include: Azithromycin, Atenolol, Viagra, Aviane and many more.
Can I get a lab requisition?
Yes, you can get a lab requisition within 30 minutes. You can get tested for multiple conditions such as pregnancy, diabetes, STDs or get any imaging done.
Can I get medical notes?
Yes, you can get medical notes for work or school for free in our yearly plan in Nova Scotia and Ontario, Canada.
How often can I chat with a doctor in a day?
You can chat with a doctor as many times as you like. You will be required to subscribe any of our plans starting from $20 per month.
Do you treat emergency medical conditions?
In case of an emergency, it is best to visit a doctor in person by reporting to the ER. Virtual consultations have some limitations, one of which is dealing with an emergency. However, our doctors can point you in the right direction by offering the best possible advice.
Can you treat chronic conditions?
We provide consultations regarding managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and arthritis. You can also get refills for your medications through our platform.
Can you prescribe or give refills for controlled medications?
No, we do not provide prescriptions or refills for controlled medications. Here is a list of such controlled substances:

How soon can I get my prescription?
The prescription will be faxed to the pharmacy of your choice within 1-2 hours. If your pharmacy hasn’t received your prescription, please contact support so that we can assist you further and resolve any issues you may be facing.
How will I get to know about lab or imaging results?
Once your test results are emailed to us by the facility you got tested at, you will receive a call from our doctor to discuss your results. In addition, you would get a follow-up call if you missed your first call. Our doctors will contact you three times if the call is not answered. Still, if you are unavailable, you can contact our support team by emailing us at support@yourdoctors.online to schedule your appointment according to your availability. We will email your reports to you after the consultation.
How soon can I get my medical note?
You can get a medical note in less than 30 minutes after consulting with one of our online doctors. If you haven’t received an email, don’t hesitate to contact support.
